Welcome to the FEMA Cloud Summit where Cloud practitioners come together to learn and share information on the latest Cloud technologies and best practices.
The FEMA Cloud Summit is an annual virtual event that provides participants with information on the FEMA Enterprise Cloud, discussions with Cloud pioneers in the federal government, and opportunities to interact with FEMA’s Cloud partners in the Virtual Exhibit Hall.
This is the 4th year FEMA has held this cloud informational event. Last year’s success resulted in 384 in attendance, and a exorbitant amount visits to booths in the Exhibit Hall where participants watched videos, downloaded information, and chatted with representatives.
We have broken this event's agenda up to make it beneficial for all participants no matter what your level of cloud experience, in hopes that everyone gains a wealth of knowledge from attending.
The day will begin with special keynote addresses, followed by a deep dive into FEMA’s Enterprise Cloud program. Panels of FEMA programs and DHS programs will discuss their challenges and how they overcame them in their move to the Cloud. Between sessions and during breaks, FEMA’s Cloud partners will be available in the Virtual Exhibit Hall for information and chats.
FEMA employees interested in how FEMA is implementing Cloud technologies. Contractors supporting FEMA systems are welcome to attend.
The federal government is increasing its focus on Cloud technologies to mitigate cybersecurity risk and improve IT performance. The Cloud Summit will provide FEMA IT professionals with information on our near- and long-term Cloud strategy so that programs can develop their own migration plans.
